Kia ora this is a blog post about Bird of the year and what bird I chose. There was a winner and it was the long tailed bat but the one i voted for was the Rockhopper penguin.
Hi Remy, thanks for sharing. I like your reasons for choosing the penguin, they are a pretty quirky looking bird aren't they? I would choose kiwi just because they are an important part of NZ and like the penguin, nearly extinct.
